結びつく

物のある一部に焦点を当て、それがその物以外とつながりや関係性ができて、別の意味合いをつくり出し、その意味合いから再度、元の物を構築する。

その物が建築でも、何かのプロダクトでも、何でもよいが、物のある一部、構成要素を取り出してきて、その要素だけが独立して、新たな関係性を生み出し、その関係性から再構築する。

物単体で突き詰めて創作していくことに限界や行き詰まり感はないが、その物のみで、その物の価値や造形や経済性だけで、全てが完結してしまうことに違和感を感じる。

飲み口の厚みが連続的に変化する。飲み口の厚みによって唇をつけた時の感触が違う。唇をつける位置を、飲み物の種類や、それこそ、その日の気分で自由に変えれば、感触が変わる。

飲み口と気分に関係性が生まれた。ならば、気分によって飲み口を変えた場合、全体の形の見え方も呼応して変われば、気分とカップが結びつく、気分の自由さを生かす非対称のデザインにする、それが発端だった。
