気分で、つくる

壁と暮らしの関係性の中で、何を考えたいかというと日常的な「気分」である。

人は気分の生き物であり、気分次第で今の感じ方が変わる。それをそのまま日常の中で表してしまうかどうかはその人の問題だが、気分でコロコロ変わる、気分を日常の暮らしの中でどのように意識するかが大事だと思うならば、建築と人の関係性に想いを馳せるねらば、コロコロと変わる気分に対して、どのような建築があり得るのか、そのコロコロと変わる気分をどのように捕まえるかを建築の主題にすることは、今まで、それを考えた人はいないかもしれないが、必要なことだと思う。

気分はコロコロ変わる、それを受け止めるには、受け止め側もそれに合わせてコロコロ変わることができれば良いのだが、建築はそうはいかない。建築は動くことができない、ただ、可動間仕切りなどを使って可変することはできるが、バリエーションが限られてしまう。気分にバリエーションは無い、そんなに気分は単純ではなく、複雑で厄介なものだから、可変程度のことでは対応できない。

ならば、コロコロ変わる気分を持つ人が選択するしかない。その単純ではなく、複雑で厄介な選択を受け止めて、受け入れる、それも言葉上のレトリックでは無い建築をつくり出すしかない。

ただ、あまりにも複雑で厄介な選択だから、どこかにこちら側で、建築側で、リードするような、この範疇でならば、というデザインをしないと誰も理解できない、結果的に何も気分を受け止められないような建築になりそうな気がする。

そして、今、その可能性があるとしたら「壁の厚み」だと考えている。

There is no variation in the mood, the mood is not so simple, it is complicated and troublesome, so it can not be handled with a variable degree.

Then, there is no choice but to choose a person with a mood that changes. Accepting and accepting that simple, complex and cumbersome choice is the only way to create an architecture that is not a verbal rhetoric.

However, because it is an overly complicated and troublesome choice, no one can understand unless it is designed to be in this category that leads somewhere on this side, on the construction side, and as a result, it feels nothing. I feel like it would be an unacceptable architecture.
