アフォーダンスはつなぎ

壁の造形が作者の自由で好きなように成り立つためには、その壁が最低限、アフォーダンスとして成立していれば良いのではないかと考えてみた。

アフォーダンスとは手掛かりである。人のアクティビティの発露になるものである。作者が好き勝手に、自由に、恣意的に振る舞って、造形が決まっていたとしても、最低限、このアフォーダンスが成り立っていれば、その壁はデザインされたものとして受け入れられるだろう。

アフォーダンスが成り立っていなければ、ただの奇抜な壁である。それがデザインされた壁として受け入れられるかどうかは好み次第か、その壁がその造形である必要性が客観的では無いから、その壁がただの恣意的ということだろう。

恣意的な造形にはしたくないのが前提なので、ただ、造形は一見恣意的なように自由で好きなようにしたい、この矛盾を上手くつなぎ合わせるためにアフォーダンスとして成立させることは有効だろう。

"Affordance is a bridge"

In order for the author to be free and likable to shape the wall, I wondered if the wall should be at least as affordable.

Affordance is a clue. It is a manifestation of human activity. Even if the author freely, arbitrarily and arbitrarily shaped the form, if at least this affordance holds, the wall will be accepted as a design.

If affordance does not hold, it is just a strange wall. Whether it's acceptable as a designed wall is up to you, or it's just arbitrary, because the need for that wall to be shaped isn't objective.

It is premised that we do not want to make it arbitrary, but we want to make it seemingly arbitrary and free, and it would be effective to establish it as an affordance in order to connect these contradictions well.
