型を疑う

建築的創造は、型を守り、その型を基にして、その先へ発展させて行くのか、それとも、型自体を疑い、新たな型をつくろうとするのか、どちらなのだろうかと考えてしまう。

単に、創造するということであれば、どちらの場合も有り得る。どちらの場合も、結果的には、新しいものが生まれるから。

だから、どちらでも構わないのだろう、あとはどちらの態度を選択するだけか、無難に行くならば、型は守った方が良いし、そちらの方が賢いやり方のような気がするし、そちらの方が新しいものができた時に抵抗なく受け入れやすく、わかりやすく、評価を受けやすいが、無性に新たな型をつくることがやりたくなるし、既存の型を疑いたくなる。

はっきりと、これは新しいと、見たことが無いと、でも良いと、なるように。

"I doubt the type"

In architectural creation, one wonders whether to follow the pattern and develop it on the basis of the pattern, or to doubt the pattern itself and create a new pattern.

Either way, it just happens to be creative. In both cases, the end result is something new.

So, it doesn't matter which one you choose, then you just have to choose which one, or if you're going to be safe, it's better to keep the pattern and it's a wiser way, It is easy to accept, understand, and evaluate without difficulty when a new one is created, but it makes it difficult to create new types asexually and to doubt existing ones.

Clearly, this is new, never seen, but good.
