可変に違和感

日常の出来事が様々に形を変えて出現する空間をつくるとすると、壁から様々なものが飛び出してくるような、壁が開き中から様々なものが移動してくるような空間をすぐに思い浮かべてしまうが、それは確かに建築的な解釈に沿ってはいるが、メタボリズム的な匂いもするが、それは事象として可変することに重きが置かれており、可変した様が今までの建築の見え方と同じならば、単なるサーカスやマジックに過ぎず、ショーとしては面白いかもしれないが、空間としてはつまらないというか、何も新しいものを生み出せてはいないので、わざわざやるようなこととは思えない。

可変するよりも、心象によって事象が変化したように見えることの方が建築らしいような気がする。きっとその建築らしさのようなことは、可変する装置のような建築に対する刷り込まれた違和感から来るのだろう。
