精度か

コーヒーのマグカップを眺めながら、繊細さはどうやって認識するのだろうと考えていた。

まず形だろう。形がシャープならば繊細に感じる。例えば、樽型よりは糸巻き型の方が繊細に感じそうだ。やはり、樽型では野暮ったく、無骨になるだろう。

次に、厚み。厚みは端部に現れる。端部の処理が細かったり、薄かったりすると繊細さが出て、厚いと繊細には見えない。

あと、色もあるだろう。膨張色である暖色系よりは収縮色である寒色系や、黒やグレーや白のような無彩色の方が繊細に感じそうだ。

そして、精度。もしかしたら精度が一番大事かもしれない。精度とは全体のつくりの精密さであり、きっちりとしていて狂いがない様で、精度が高い方が繊細に見える。もしかしたら、形が樽型でも、厚みが厚くても、色が暖色系でも、精度が高ければ、それだけで繊細に見えるはずだ。

"Accurate?"

Looking at the coffee mug, I wondered how to recognize the delicacy.

First of all If the shape is sharp, it feels delicate. For example, the wound type seems to be more delicate than the barrel type. After all, the barrel type will be dull and clunky.

Next, thickness. Thickness appears at the edges. If the edge treatment is thin or thin, delicateness appears, and if it is thick, it does not look delicate.

There will also be colors. It seems that cold colors, which are contracted colors, and achromatic colors, such as black, gray, and white, are more delicate than warm colors, which are expanded colors.

And precision. Perhaps accuracy is the most important thing. Precision is the precision of the whole construction, it seems to be tight and there is no deviation, and the higher precision looks delicate. Maybe even if the shape is barrel-shaped, thick, or warm-colored, if it has high accuracy, it will look delicate by itself.
