暮らしがどのくらい変わるのか

暮らしが変わるのだろうか、大きく変わるという人もいて、今まで変えようとして変えることができなかったこと、リモートワークや電子認証などのデジタル変革がたった2ヵ月で起こり、働き方改革も一気に進むから、東京から地方へ、多拠点生活に、都市生活を補完するような地方暮らしをする人が増えるという見方がある一方で、世界的には来年には今年起こったこと、新型コロナ渦は無かったことになるだろうという人もいるし、今この混乱期にいち早く動いて、周りが止まっている間にシェアを拡大した大企業もある。

全く暮らしが変わらないということは今さら無いだろうが、どのくらい変わるのか。時代を振り子に例える人は、大きく揺れれば、振幅は大きくなり、小さければ、振幅も小さいという。

今回の新型コロナが及ぼした影響は、たくさんの死者を出し、経済的にも大きなダメージをもたらしたので、とても甚大ではあったが、暮らしに関しては巣篭もりするという、今も続く初めての経験をしていても、そのための手段はリモートワークにしても、今までSkypeやテレビ電話で行ってはいたし、日用品の配送はAmazonフレッシュ、フードデリバリーはUber Eatsなど既存のサービスを使うことで解決でき、なかなか思うように外出できないなどの不自由な思いをしながらも、慣れてくれば以前とさほど変わらず、むしろ新たな発見や試みにより、今回の新型コロナ渦を暮らしの精度を上げるために利用している人さえもいて、影響と被害は甚大だが、暮らしに対する振り子の振れ幅は小さく済んでいるような気がする。

だから今は、暮らしが大きく変わるようには思えず、ウィズコロナ用の対策がワクチンができるまでプラスされ、その期間が長く続くというぐらいの変わりようなのかなと思ってしまう。
