つながり、影響、見え方
プランを考える時は巨人になって俯瞰してみるから、全体像はわかりやすいが、普通の人目線とは違うところを意識しないと、人の内面まで届かなくなる。
物を介して、この場合は建築だけれども、人の内面にどのような影響を及ぼすかに興味があり、それは物が人に影響を与えることが前提になるが、建築は内部に人が入り込める空間をつくり出し、外部環境という空間を形成する一要素にもなるので、十分に人に影響を与える存在といえる。
そういう存在の建築で、もっと詳細に人に影響を与える物をみていくと、形や大きさ、色や素材などがある。それらはどれも、視覚や触覚など、人の感覚に作用する物であり、人の内面に影響を与える時の入り口で、介在する物である。
そのお店は小さな飲食店兼料理教室、最低限の設備を仕込み、人の居場所をつくる、その時に空間の中に置き、外部と内部をつなぎ、建築と人をつなぎ、人と人をつなぐ役目としてテーブルという物に注目した。
大きなテーブルを3つ、真ん中のテーブルだけ高くし、2つのテーブルは外まではみ出している。その形は楕円、大きなテーブルは人を集め、人と人をつなぎ、楕円のカーブは人と人の距離を緩やかに調整し、外のテーブルは周辺環境にもこのお店の何かを伝えるためにあり、そして、立ち上がる壁には、テーブルの形と呼応した開口があり、建築を引っ掛かりがあるアイコンのような存在として、外に向かって建築と人をつなげる。
このように様々なつながりをつくり出す建築という物があってはじめて、人の内面に影響を及ぼすことができる。そして、その影響が今度は建築にかえってきて、建築の見え方が決まる。
"Connect, influence, and view"
When I think of a plan, I'm a giant and I'm going to take a bird's-eye view, so it's easy to understand the whole picture, but if I don't pay attention to what is different from ordinary eyesight, I cannot reach the inside of people.
Through things, in this case architecture, I'm interested in how it affects the inside of a person, which presupposes that things affect people, but architecture allows people to enter inside. It is one of the elements that create a space and form a space called the external environment, so it can be said that it has enough influence on people.
If you look at the objects that affect people in more detail in such existing architecture, there are shapes, sizes, colors and materials. All of them are objects that affect human senses such as visual sense and tactile sense, and are objects that intervene at the entrance when they affect the inside of a person.
The store is a small restaurant and cooking class, equipped with the minimum equipment to create a place for people, put in the space at that time, connecting the outside and the inside, connecting the architecture and people, connecting people to people I paid attention to the table.
Three large tables, only the middle table is raised, and the two tables stick out. Its shape is elliptical, the large table gathers people, connects people, the elliptic curve gently adjusts the distance between people, and the outer table conveys something of this shop to the surrounding environment. There is an opening corresponding to the shape of a table on the rising wall, and it connects the architecture and people to the outside as an icon-like entity that catches the architecture.
It is only when there is an architecture that creates various connections in this way can it influence the inside of a person. Then, the influence will change back to architecture, and the appearance of architecture will be determined.
