叙情さを生み出す

雰囲気が馴染み、心に引っ掛かり、気分が動かされることを叙情的だとして、叙情的なものをつくりたいと常に頭の片隅で想っている。

できあがる物は建築でも、家具でも、器でも何でもよく、種別ではなくて、叙情的であるかどうかが大事で、叙情的であるためには何をどこまで意識してつくるのか、全てを意識してつくり、叙情的である様を装うことは案外と簡単で、叙情的なデザインの見せ方をすればよい。

つくり手自身が叙情的でいるべきかも疑わしい。

意図や意識の外れたところで見える叙情さのような、自然の中にはたくさんあり、今ならば紅葉の叙情さか、意図や意識は存在しない。

叙情的であるために叙情さを纏わない。叙情的とは別の働きが結果的には叙情さを生み出すようなことを物をつくることを通して行えればと思う。

"Create lyricism"

I always think in the corner of my head that I want to make something lyrical, saying that it is lyrical that the atmosphere is familiar, that it catches my heart, and that my mood is moved.

The finished product can be architecture, furniture, vessels, whatever, it is not the type, it is important whether it is lyrical or not, and in order to be lyrical, what and how much you are conscious of making it is all conscious. It's surprisingly easy to make and pretend to be lyrical, just show the lyrical design.

It is doubtful that the creator himself should be lyrical.

There are many things in nature, such as the lyricism that can be seen outside the intention and consciousness, and now there is no intention or consciousness, such as the lyricism of autumn leaves.

Do not wear lyricism because it is lyrical. I hope that something other than lyrical work can eventually produce lyrical things through making things.
