窪みと窪み

何気なく触り手に馴染ませると、指が側面の窪みにちょうど良くおさまる抹茶茶碗を手から放して見ると、窪みは茶碗に形の変化と趣きを与える。茶碗自体が変化する訳ではなく、人が触れて近づくか、離れて遠去かるかによって、窪みの意味合いが変わり、茶碗自体を扱うのか、茶碗を拝見するのかの違いに窪みが対応する。

茶碗は小さく動かすことができるから、茶碗自体が動くことにより、窪みの意味合いを変化させることができるが、建築は大きく動かすことができないから、人自身が動いて意味合いを変化させる。

人と動きと意味合いの変化の組合せによって、茶碗の窪みのようなものを建築で表現することは可能になり、窪みのようなものだけで建築が成り立ちはしないかと考えている。

"Dents and dents"

When you casually familiarize yourself with the touch, when you release the matcha bowl from your hand, the finger fits in the recess on the side, the depression gives the bowl a change of shape and taste. The bowl itself does not change, but the meaning of the dent changes depending on whether a person touches it or moves away from it, and the dent corresponds to the difference between handling the bowl itself and seeing the bowl.

Since the bowl can be moved small, the meaning of the depression can be changed by moving the bowl itself, but since the architecture cannot be moved greatly, the person himself moves to change the meaning.

By combining people, movements, and changes in meaning, it is possible to express something like a dent in a bowl in architecture, and I think that architecture can be made only with something like a dent.
