2つのスケール

建築の良し悪しは最後はスケールが決めるといつも思う。デザインが良くてもスケールがおかしいと良く見えなく、デザインが普通でもスケールが適正だと良く見えてくる。

人の気分が建築と関係を築くことをスケールの面から考えてみると、建築のスケールは人のスケールよりはるかに大きくなり、人の気分を包括して希薄にして何もないことにしてしまうことがあるので、建築と人のスケールは同じくらいにしたい。

建築の成り立ち、すなわち、建築の骨組みをスケールの面から考えてみると、建築のスケールは人を内包するために人のスケールより大きくならざるを得ない。

したいスケールとならざるを得ないスケールがあり、どちらかに寄せることができないとしたら、2つのスケールが同時に存在することになり、2つのスケールをどのように扱うかが大事になり、さらに、この2つのスケールをつなぐものが存在するのではないかと考える。

I want to make the scale of architecture and people the same because there are times.

Considering the origin of architecture, that is, the framework of architecture in terms of scale, the scale of architecture must be larger than the scale of human beings in order to include people.

If you have a scale that you have no choice but to move to one of them, then you have two scales at the same time, and how you handle the two scales is important. I think there is something that connects the two scales.
