間に生まれるスケール

遥かに大きい建築のスケールの中に人と同じくらいのスケールが内在している。人と同じ位のスケールはひとつではなくて、いくつものスケールが混在している。この場合のスケールの違いは物で表現され、人がそこにいることで違いがわかる。

スケール感は人がそこにいることによって感じられることだが、当然人がいなくても物はスケールを纏う。スケールが適切ならば物として建築として人に良く見え、それだけで完成度が高くなる。

たくさん混在している人と同じ位のスケールをまとめるのは遥かに大きい建築のスケールであるが、人と建築のスケールの差が大きければ、間にもうひとつの違うスケールを挟み込む余地が生まれ、その間に生まれるスケールの扱いによって規模の大きな建築の成否が決まる。

"Scale born in between"

There is a scale as large as a human being in a much larger architectural scale. There is not one scale as much as a person, but several scales are mixed. The difference in scale in this case is expressed by an object, and the difference can be seen when a person is there.

The feeling of scale is felt by the presence of people, but of course things wear scale even if there are no people. If the scale is appropriate, it will look good to people as an architecture as an object, and that alone will increase the degree of perfection.

It is a much larger architectural scale to put together the same scale as a lot of mixed people, but if the difference between the human and architectural scales is large, there is room to put another different scale in between. The success or failure of a large-scale building is determined by the treatment of the scale that is born in.
