スケールの違いが領域の違い

中間にいてどちらにでもなるような状態が面白いと思い、それを建築としてプランに落とし込むと、様々な領域が重なり合っているような空間になる。

領域とは、壁などの仕切りがあり境界がはっきりとした状態というよりは、もっと曖昧で仕切りの壁が見えなくてもよく、意識の中で境界が存在しているような状態だが、プランでそれを表現するのは難しく、どうしても仕切りがないと領域とみなせない。

そうすると、領域を他の方法で表現する必要が出てくる。他の方法とはスケールである。領域の違いをスケールの違いで表現し、プラン上で様々な領域が重なり合っているような空間は様々なスケールが同時に存在し、より複雑なスケールになっていく。

An area is not a state where there is a partition such as a wall and the boundary is clear, but it is a state where it is more ambiguous and the partition wall does not have to be seen, and the boundary exists in consciousness, but in the plan It is difficult to express it, and it cannot be regarded as an area without a partition.

Then, the area needs to be represented in other ways. The other method is scale. The difference in the area is expressed by the difference in the scale, and in the space where various areas overlap on the plan, various scales exist at the same time, and the scale becomes more complicated.
