物だから

建築は動かないから、人が動く時々で見え方を変化させて、空間に動きを与えたいと常々考えている。

建築自体は物だから、物としての建築、例えば、壁の仕上げをどうするかなど、建築の素材に焦点を当てて綺麗に見せることも面白いけれど、物だから、その物を取り巻く現象に興味があり、そこに人が絡み、人がどのように感じるのかの総和が建築だと思う。

Since architecture does not move, I always want to give movement to space by changing the way people look when they move.

Since architecture itself is a thing, it is interesting to focus on the material of the building and make it look beautiful, such as how to finish the wall, but because it is a thing, I am interested in the phenomenon surrounding the thing. I think architecture is the sum of how people get involved and how people feel.
