外部は何もしない空間

何かする空間で構成するのが建築だとしたら、何もしない空間は建築以外の空間になる。工作物は除くとして建築以外の空間を都市空間の中で探すと、やはり同じ敷地内での余白の空間というか建築以外の外部空間を指すことになるだろう。

いつも思うことだが、敷地内での建築以外の外部空間
をどのように扱うによって建築の見え方に差が出る。もしかしたら、何もしない空間として外部空間を捉え直してみると何か違った見え方が現れるかもしれない。

If architecture is composed of a space that does something, a space that does nothing is a space other than architecture. If you look for a space other than architecture in the urban space, excluding the works, you will probably refer to the space in the margin on the same site or the external space other than architecture.

There is a difference in the appearance of architecture depending on how you handle it. Perhaps, if you reconsider the external space as a space that does nothing, something different may appear.
