スケールの影響

大小のスケールの組み合わせで建築をつくることにより、建築の周りの空間までスケールによって巻き込み、つながりをつくることができるのではないかと考えている。

建築として自律するだけでなく、周りをも巻き込んで建築空間の一部としたい。そのためには何かつながりが必要で、ただ物理的なつながりはなかなかつくれないからスケールで巻き込もうとした。

周りをスケールで巻き込もうとしたら少なくとも2つの建築が必要である。ちょっと磁場をイメージした。N極とS極があることで磁力線が発生するように、2つの建築が影響し合いその場だけのスケールが発生し、周りに影響を与える。その影響はきっとその場の雰囲気を変えるだけの力を持つだろう。

"Effect of scale"

I think that by creating an architecture with a combination of large and small scales, it is possible to involve the space around the architecture with the scale and create a connection.

I want to not only be autonomous as an architecture, but also to involve the surroundings and make it a part of the architectural space. To do that, I needed some kind of connection, but I couldn't get a physical connection, so I tried to get involved on a scale.

If you want to get around on a scale, you need at least two buildings. I imagined a magnetic field for a moment. Just as the presence of N and S poles produces magnetic lines of force, the two buildings affect each other, creating an in-situ scale that affects the surroundings. The influence will surely have the power to change the atmosphere of the place.
