メタファーを意識する

素材からの連想を意識することはメタファーにアクセスしていくことを意識する必要があると考えた。

メタファーは建築において使い古された言葉と思ってしまうが今だに主題になり得る言葉であり、あえて特別に扱う必要が無く一般的な言葉になったと解釈している。建築以外の分野ではメタファーは当たり前に意識されているので、建築でも特殊なことを一般解として扱いたい時には手段として使える。

I thought that it is necessary to be aware of accessing the metaphor to be aware of the association from the material.

I think that metaphor is a word that has been used up in architecture, but it is still a word that can be the subject, and I interpret it as a general word that does not need to be treated specially. Metaphors are taken for granted in fields other than architecture, so they can be used as a means when you want to treat special things as general solutions in architecture as well.
