見ることは誘いに乗ること

何かを見る、凝視する直前には散漫な状態があり、散漫でボーっとしている時には視野の中にたくさんのものが同列で優劣なく存在している。まず人はこの散漫でボーっとしている状態を瞬時に無意識につくるが、意識的に長くつくることもできる。

この次の段階で何に焦点を合わせて凝視するかを決めるのだが、散漫な視野の中にあるたくさんのものからの誘いに乗ることで決めていると考えることもできる。それは散漫な視野の中にものを置く時点で誘いを誘発しているとも考えられる。

そうすると「見る」ことは焦点を合わせて凝視する段階ではじまるのではなくて、その以前、目を開けて視野を形成している時点にはすでに凝視するものは捉えていて「見る」ことははじまっていると考えることができるかもしれず、初期のボーっとしている状態はまだ誘いに乗る前で何かを「見る」上で実は一番素直にものを見ている状態かもしれない。

Then, "seeing" does not start at the stage of focusing and staring, but before that, when the eyes are opened and the field of view is formed, the person who is staring at is already caught and "seeing" begins.
