型の有無

型が無い世界と型が有る世界、両極端を味わいたくて茶道を習いはじめたのかもしれない。生業としている建築の世界は型が無い。これについては異論があるかもしれないが、一定基準のレベルを満たしていれば何でも有りの創造の世界だと考えている。一方、茶道の世界は今のところ型が有り、その型の中での創造性はある一定の基準以上のレベルまで行けばあるのかもしれないが、その型は崩せない。だから、型の有無でいえば、建築と茶道は真逆の世界であり、一方から真逆の片方を眺めることで気づくことがたくさんある。
