効率と数値化できないものの組合せ

効率の良さを目指すことは同時に効率よく余分なものを排除することでもあり、排除する時の基準は制御できるかどうかであり、制御できないものは効率の外に置くことになる。効率の良さを測る指標は数値であり、制御できないものは数値化できない。それでは、効率の良いものと数値化できないものを組合せるとどうなるだろうか。普通に考えれば効率が悪くなると考えるだろう。だから、数値化できないものは、徹底的に数値化しようと試みるか排除しようとする。しかし、効率の良いものと数値化できないものを組合せても効率が悪くないらないどころか効率が良くなることがあるとしたら、それはどのような場合だろうかと考えてみると面白い。
