"Including the city in architecture"
We are considering whether there is a relationship between efficiency and juxtaposition of relationships. Efficiency is important in planning an apartment building because it also leads to business feasibility, but if you pursue only efficiency, it will not be a space where people live. Therefore, I would like to seek moderate efficiency, but at that time I focused on the relationship in order to maintain a balance with efficiency.
There are three relationships: the relationship within the dwelling unit, the relationship between the dwelling units, and the relationship with the external environment. Although each relationship exists, each relationship is interrupted at parts such as walls and floors, so the relationships are juxtaposed, and there are multiple relationships in a block of architecture. Can coexist. The state is like a city, and if we focus on the relationship, we can include the city in architecture.
Therefore, if we think that efficiency is a repetition of the disconnection of relationships, we thought that we might be able to discover urbanity efficiently through relationships. If we can discover urbanity efficiently, we may be able to successfully connect efficiency with the space where people live, depending on the method.
