先に木の場所を決める

建築を配置した残りの場所を緑化することはよくある。まず建築の位置を決める場合がほとんどだろう。ただそれでは自然の中に住むようにはならない。自然の中に住むことをイメージした場合、森がありその中に建築を建てることを思い浮かべる。ならば、先に木を植える場所を決めてしまおう。それもその敷地の中でどこに植えればその場所が、森とは言わずとも、緑が溢れる自然の中にいるイメージになるかと考えてみる。そうすると一番環境が良い、一番目立つ、大概は建築を配置することになる場所になる。建築はその木を避ければいいだけと考える。

Greening the rest of the building is common. In most cases, the location of the building will be determined first. But that doesn't make it possible to live in nature. When I imagine living in nature, I think of building a building in a forest. Then decide where to plant the tree first. Think about where you should plant them on the site to give the place an image of being in a natural environment full of greenery, not just a forest. Then, it will be the place with the best environment, the most conspicuous, and most likely where the architecture will be placed. I think architecture should just avoid that tree.
